Dr. Mears is the Clinical Director and Owner of The Soul's Apothecary. He has been a psychologist working in the field of mental health for over 10 years. He specializes in the area of psychological evaluations and child and adolescent mental health. He is passionate about serving clients who have experienced trauma and addictions. Dr. Mears desires to be part of a healing process for adoptive families who have experienced attachment wounds. He has done extensive training on faith-informed counseling theory and he wants to provide a clinical relationship that honors his client's faith and values.
Elaina is a licensed professional clinical counselor at The Soul’s Apothecary who has experience in outpatient and school-based settings. She is deeply committed to cultivating a sense of safety, connection, and respect with her clients, drawing from trauma-informed and attachment-based principles. When desired by her clients, Elaina delights in providing faith-enriched counseling, emphasizing the genuine empathy Jesus has for us in our suffering. She is particularly passionate about working with teens, though she welcomes adult clients as well.
Jamie is an outpatient therapist at The Soul's Apothecary who specializes in child and adolescent work. Jamie approaches counseling from a cognitive-behavioral, trauma-informed lens placing emphases on integration of faith and attachment principles. Her relational and strengths-based focus helps foster healing and cultivate resilience among clientele.
Brandi is an outpatient therapist at the Soul's Apothecary who enjoys working with adolescents, young adults, and couples (although she has experience with all ages).
She accompanies clients with a relationship focus, providing a warm and peaceful presence while exploring challenges. She integrates mindfulness meditations and faith integration/exploration, as clients desire. Brandi wants all of her clients to experience "you are not a problem to be fixed but a person to be seen, known, and loved".
Dr. Travis Mord is a postdoctoral outpatient therapist who specializes in psychological assessment as well as mental health therapy for adolescents and adults. Dr. Mord is passionate about helping clients understand their internal, emotional, and spiritual experiences to better relate to themselves and the world around them. Dr. Mord has a wide range of experience working with adults, adolescents and couples with various concerns including anxiety, depression, trauma, relational conflict, adjustment difficulties, chemical dependency, and sexual health challenges. Dr. Mord offers a wide range of psychological assessment services to better foster diagnostic clarity as well as increase treatment insight and direction.
Katelyn is a licensed professional clinical counselor at The Soul’s Apothecary who enjoys couples work and individual therapy for adults. Katelyn has training and experience in trauma-focused and attachment-based approaches that allow clients to find healing and resiliency from past hardships. Katelyn also specializes in marital and relational work. In all therapeutic work, Katelyn enjoys using faith-based values as the foundation of wellness.
Alyssa Raway is a licensed graduate social worker with years of experience working with children and their families. She utilizes a strengths-based approach to foster healing and resiliency in her clients. Alyssa looks forward to integrating faith into the therapeutic process when clients desire it.
Alyssa also sees clients one day per week at the TSA office in West St. Paul, where she focuses on working with young mothers, adolescents, and children.
Madeline is a licensed professional clinical counselor and licensed alcohol and drug counselor at The Soul’s Apothecary. She is passionate about serving clients who have suffered from trauma, attachment wounds, depression, and addiction. Madeline takes a psychodynamic, faith-informed approach to counseling by helping clients build self-awareness, explore patterns, and enter into a positive clinical relationship. She desires to walk with her clients through inner work that promotes healing.
Elizabeth is a licensed professional clinical counselor at The Soul’s Apothecary who enjoys working with adults for individual therapy, couples work, and working with parent education. She has training in Prepare/enrich marital therapy, sexual health concerns, trauma, and dialectic behavioral therapy. Elizabeth approaches therapy from an eclectic approach utilizing tools from the therapy that will best fit the client. Elizabeth wants to help the client find healing in their mind and soul.
Heather is an outpatient therapist at The Soul's Apothecary who specializes in child therapy and trauma informed work.
